Our publications and research have been in partnership with companies in all phases of FDA development and trials.
In addition, we have been instrumental in the development of marketing, training and other support material for companies as they bring products to market, and our facility is frequently used to train physicians and representatives and to develop training videos.
Facility Description
We are centrally located in West Palm Beach, Fla., and offer a separate research suite, which includes a large monitoring area with all necessary study equipment (i.e., locked storage, refrigerator/freezer and canfield camera systems). We also offer a CLIA-certified laboratory for histopathology. Our research center is conveniently located near Palm Beach International Airport and five minutes from the world-famous Breakers Hotel.
Our onsite pathology laboratory is capable of processing skin for frozen tissue histology as well as for permanent sections with special staining as needed. We have a computer image-capture system to take photomicrographs of the biopsies at publication-grade quality. We have UVB light sources (both narrow band and broad band). In addition, we have lasers for hair removal, fractional resurfacing (ablative and nonablative) and pulsed dye lasers for the treatment of vascular lesions. We also possess intense pulsed light devices and an infrared skin treatment system. Photodynamic therapy is performed using our Blu U and intense pulsed lights for activation. We have several publication- and FDA-suitable photographic imaging systems, including Canfield systems.
We are adjacent to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach. This provides access to any imaging that may be required.
Our clinical research facility has full-time, board-certified dermatologists and dermatopathologists, a clinical coordinator, clinical clerical staff and a physician’s assistant.
