Western States Clinical Research (WSCR), Inc. is a privately owned, multi-specialty research site in Wheat Ridge, CO. WSCR, Inc. works with several principal investigators in the Denver Metro area. Opening its doors in 1991, WSCR, Inc. has conducted over 150 clinical trials. The study coordinators at Western States Clinical Research have a combined 55 years of clinical research experience.

Facility Description
WSCR, Inc. has two exam rooms for patient visits, a locked drug storage room, a central laboratory and a private monitoring room. On site equipment includes centrifuges for processing lab samples, an ECG machine, pulmonary function testing machines, temperature monitoring of our drug storage room, refrigerator & freezer. On-site emergency supplies include first aid kits, an AED, epi-pens, and oxygen.
The Principal investigators' offices are located within a seven-mile radius of Western States Clinical Research, Inc..
Just 40 minutes from the Denver International Airport, 20 minutes from downtown Denver, 25 minutes from Boulder and, when roads are clear, less than an hour from the Continental Divide. Nearby accommodations include the Denver Marriott West and the Sheraton Denver West, as well as numerous hotels located in the downtown Denver area.
Fort Collins and Colorado Springs, two other major population centers, are located along Interstate 25 about one hour north and south of Denver, respectively.

Patient Demographics
WSCR, Inc’s study volunteers are recruited throughout the diverse greater Denver Metro area. According to Metro Denver EDC nearly one third of Metro Denver’s population identifies as a person of color. With people identifying as 22.6% Hispanic, 5.2% Black, .5% Native American and 4.6% Asian. WSCR, Inc. has access to the physician databases allowing the coordinators to search for thousands of potentially eligible study subjects. Study subjects are also recruited using various advertising methods, including but not limited to newspaper and radio advertisements, direct mail flyers, community events, social media and email campaigns. We have found a cooperative, motivated population of potential study volunteers to be present in the Denver area, which contributes greatly to our success in achieving enrollment goals.
Our subject database currently includes 2,800 potential study participants for the following indications:

- Rosacea and severe eczema

- Gastroesophageal reflux disease
- Diabetes (primarily Type 2; many with neuropathy)
