Genpact, a global provider transforming and running business processes and operations, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Pharmalink Consulting, a global provider of regulatory services to the life sciences industry.

The acquisition will complement Genpact's portfolio of services in the life sciences vertical and add significant consulting, outsourcing and operations capabilities. It also significantly expands Genpact's capabilities in supporting the life sciences R&D functions, including regulatory strategy, filing submissions, complex compliance services and the management of post-licensing activities.

Pharmalink's clients include nearly all of the twenty largest global life sciences companies. Their specialized experience includes the end-to-end range of regulatory services including strategy, chemistry manufacturing & controls (CMC), regulatory operations and publishing and technology services.

Pharmalink's employees based in the U.S., the U.K., India, Ireland and Puerto Rico will become part of Genpact's life sciences vertical.
