May 11, 2016
WIRB-Copernicus Group (WCG), a provider of solutions that measurably improve the quality and efficiency of clinical research, has announced that its Clintrax Global company has been named a finalist for the Triangle Business Journal’s 2016 Life Sciences Awards.
The Life Sciences Awards recognize both individuals and research organizations that are breaking ground in this broad field, which includes biology, biotechnology, genomics, neuroscience, pharmacology and many other areas of focus. Clintrax is one of 17 finalists to qualify for this honor. The list includes industry leaders such as Bayer and INC Research.
“We are proud to have been recognized by the Triangle Business Journal—and included among such august finalists—for this important achievement,” said Donald A. Deieso, Ph.D., chairman and CEO of WCG. “North Carolina—and specifically its robust Research Triangle—is home to over 600 life science companies employing 60,000 individuals who are dedicated to the advancement of human health. We are honored not only to serve this mission, but to be an active member in this community.”
Clintrax CEO Brandon Evans said, “We founded Clintrax in order to help biopharmaceutical sponsors conduct clinical trials more efficiently, so that they could bring life-saving drugs to market faster. By simplifying and expediting the negotiation of clinical trial contracts, budgets and payments, we do just that. The recognition of Triangle Business Journal means the world to our employees, who come to work every day because they believe that we’re truly making a difference.”
Finalists were selected based on the merit of key milestones achieved within the past year, as well as their unique and innovative contributions to the life sciences industry.
The winners of the 2016 Life Sciences Awards will be announced May 26.
